Osiris & Isis Project Preliminary sketches

Yup, I know the project isn't until due until the end of the month, but I started and wound up giving six hours of after school to this. I'm in love with this project and want to give it the most attention I can. If you guys get your prelims up I think it'd be cool to compare ideas (not plagiarize, lol). Check it out!

Hey Alexander! Nice concept there! I'd like to give you a constructive comment: the proportions of your characters aren't quite equal. I mean, the characters' thighs should be (in the realistic style) at least as long the torso. Yours are little shorter.

Another thing that stood out was the lower jaw of the male. It shouldn't start as far back as you've drawn; pull it a little inwards, closer to the face.

Other than that, great work. Glad to see you share your project! :D

Hey thanks Hasan!

Glad to get some advice any time, let's be realistic, no one's perfect :)

I knew something was up with their legs, they looked kind of stumpy, maybe it was the perspective of the table, or i was tired or lazy or was afraid i'd fill my page too quickly. Anyways it's good that someone else helped point that out, we still have two weeks to finish up!

As for osiris's jaw i was oblivious. Maybe i thought gods are supposed to have huge hulking viril jaws, lol? Iunno, but i've gotten comments on that.

Thanks again for your help, i'll make sure all is in order before presenting. I spoke with some of you guys yesterday, and id love to see you post up when you can!

See you all at the museum!
